ToolBox ("we", "our", or "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our website to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.
About ToolBox
ToolBox is a free online developer tools platform. We provide browser-based tools that process data entirely on the user's device. We do not store, host, or distribute any user-generated content on our servers. All data processing happens client-side in the user's browser.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content hosted on our website infringes your copyright, please send a written communication containing the following information to our designated copyright agent:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.
